After the storm the calm.

Two soldiers talk as they walk
Lamenting with much despair
Far away from that deadly grip
Of fear and deprivation
For every person everywhere
In every country tribe and nation.

Disposing of those clothes they wore
Casting away with no hesitation
Removing reminders of the the deadly war.
Making Mends and new relations
Building a world like never before
Working together instead of invasions.

Two soldiers lives were on the line
Now head towards a brand new day
They raise their hopes this time
They were detained so far away
Behind the enemy lines
Now looking for peace on future days.

Two soldiers together in company
With tails of woe and of fearful times
Happy now they are safe and free
With party's and gatherings in the street
It's time to raise a glass or two
They are alive and standing on their feet.

So long you guns and bombs
On this earth you do not belong
You created a world of fear
Now those years are dead and gone
Peaceful times now are here
Let's hope we all will live as one.
