Empty Roses

Friendship is often like roses,
And majestic,
The promises of love and joy,
That descends from both eyes.
Could keep you look endlessly,
B'cos you are fascinated.
But when you lean on,
When you trust the beauty,
You might fall just too hard.
And that will remind you,
Of the gift of empty roses.

I like the way you begin and end with a line about roses. It ties the whole poem together. Good work
