Unearthly

Born innocent, she is a stranger.
Her home an abandoned place.
So far not knowing of danger,
In peacefulness she used to bathe.

Another world is where she’s from,
Where people’s violence never thrived.
That poor girl – white graceful swan
Is stained with blood from flesh alive.

The tender heart is her weak side,
It’s all exposed for a sinner.
The Devil took her for a ride
And played the role of dirty winner.

Full of such pure inner light,
She’s faced ambassador of darkness
That wallows in brutal fight,
Not showing a sign of kindness.

On Earth that devil lives inside
Of each and every human being,
Engenders ugly thoughts and guides
His host to their black revealing.

She feels he touched her fragile life,
Left fingerprints on virgin soul.
In spite of all she has survived,
But happiness our planet stole.

I write my poems to help others to smile or to think serious about their lives. I've been writing them since childhood and sometimes I write them to show others how much and how deeply my love goes

The beautiful white swan covered in bloody fingerprints is abused yet still shines brilliantly through the tarnish...she is a virtuous woman that life has taken for a ride on a ship steered by the devil Great work Den

The battle within all of us. It deserves all the 5 stars. Being the picky person I am I would suggest 'Her home an abandoned place' would be better English but I DO love it :)
